End of life scares me and fascinates me. This conflict brought me to work with Hospice patients. I keep learning that in order to die well we need to live well. Hospice work reminds me what’s important, of how temporary I am. We all know it in our heads; it is a fact that we are all going to die but our body doesn't know it or believe it. I especially don’t remember that when I wake up in the morning. I need reminders, and caring for others at the end of their lives is the best reminder. Last week I was asking you who is the woman we are all trying to dress. Who is she? How old is she? What does she do?
