ALEMBIKA's Spring/ Summer 2019 video campaign - a blast of color and character

ALEMBIKA's Spring-Summer collection is a tour-de-force of color and character. It is filled with flower prints and polka dots; whimsical and free. Layers upon layers of fantastic storytelling, of lollipop creativity and yet its adult lines make it a collection with a persona. For Hagar Alembik, the designer, every fabric tells a different story, and each and every story is interesting. It is with this approach in mind that we have, once again, reached out to the magnificent crew of MOVERS+SHAKERS, a boutique creative agency with a unique and dynamic approach. MOVERS+SHAKERS took the concepts of character, story and color and weaved them beautifully into a series of visual journeys telling the story of the ALEMBIKA woman. Let's listen to...

Designers and buyers feel free to share buying information and walking through the show is easy and not intimidating. To us vendors, as well as buyers. Azzedine Alaia - The Last King of Craftsmanship is Dead

Azzedine Alaia trained as a young man, as a sculptor yet his medium was not clay or stone but cloth. One saw the sculptor in the way he adapted fabrics to women's bodies. The subtle curve of peplum; the gentle sway of a translucent skirt - one forgot clothes could be so beautiful. No gimmicks, no vulgarity, no instagrammable moments. He was the undeniable King of superb clothes, superbly made to flatter & enhance the women he loved. There was nobody like him & nobody with his distinct understanding of cut & proportions. From the early days of his career, Azzedine celebrated women's natural assets, rather than suppressed them. Here is a broad-shouldered leather jacket miraculously worked into a complex...

I love the one on one time in a retail store, the face time with a sales people and the intimacy in buying while trying on with someone there to advice me. I don't like change!:) Two years later, I completely understand it. I invite it and see the benefit in it. We still have a relationship with the woman who buys online; We didn't lose the intimacy. We keep in touch with her through email, social media channels and on the phone! We didn't lose the ones who like to buy in the store but rather opened the...
