Sometimes it all seems to me like one big mess. Nothing really works out the way it should , companies don't run right , banks and post office don't deliver the service, lawyers don't seem to protect, loans are impossible to get, phones are not as smart as they should be and people don't stand behind their words. But somehow it all works out, designs are made, goods are produced and delivered , people reply and mistakes are corrected. I tend to over worry. If my daughter doesn't text me back after about 30 seconds, I think she is either tied to a tree in the park or put in a sack somewhere and I have no way to help. I try to sit (meditate) a few times a week before I go to work. I sit quietly, follow my breath, watch my thoughts and feelings come and go. Many times, a few minutes into the sitting, I will have an itch in my eye or on my hand that I feel like I have to stop and scratch. But I also notice that if I am able to just sit with the itch and not react to it, it will go away by itself.
