I took a break from thinking over the last few weeks, but I'm back!
And here is a thought!I never liked trunk shows. I always thought it was too much work and a waste of time .
But in the last few months we have had a few trunk shows with a fewof you that have proved me wrong.
Here is the thing, like anything else we do, if we do it right it works!
For a trunk show to be successful it needs:
* A line that we know our customers will come to see and shop.
* Enough samples to represent the collection. Don't show up with twelve pieces.
* Some refreshments and goodies. Champagne never hurt anyone.
* Strong sales people who are on the phone bringing thecustomers in and selling them.
We made between $15,000 to $35,000 in sales in each trunk show which usually takes between 2 to 3 days.
Not bad, eh?
