Spring Summer Trends 2015 - Part 2

Last week we started covering Spring and Summer Trends for 2015 we covered colors such as blue and Gold, patterns such as dots and stripes, and ‘feels’ of Paint brush. Let’s see what else is in the works this coming season:

Galabia looks

This airy light look is a great match for all water related activities. Hides what needs to be hidden, and gives a nice ethnic flare to it.
Galabias have become a household necessity; from hosting guests to cocktail parties, this look was embraced by movie stars on the streets of LA and NY as well as well know society women hosting parties.

Lace, and mixed patterns - fabric/knit mixed

We’re seeing an interesting play of textures in knits and fabrics. Lace is interwoven into knits and fabrics. It is not the “layering look” anymore – it is all incorporated into one piece. The Romantic era is over and the more Sophisticated Retro look is now on. Knits are getting an elevated look with fishnet transparent yarns lending it a light weight look for Spring.

Items / Scarves

The season’s “in” accessory is The Scarf.
It is a great way to protect the skin from the sun (because we all know SPF doesn’t work…) and a great way to add color and light to either morning or noon looks.
We can shield ourselves from either sun or air-conditioned rooms with a beautiful burst of color to wrap our shoulders.

And…..

Pants are always important but skirts are coming back!

These are just the first posts about this trend and more will come – please stay tuned…
