If you were her stylist, perhaps you would have suggested something more suitable, to deliver the message of grief and respect. Perhaps you would have told her, “maybe not this outfit for this event”. And “How about a long Blue dress, below the knee length? Blue Boucle Wool coat and a soft scarf to match?”.
Is it our role to let our customers know what they need to wear?
