When researching a bit on denim, I came across an article stating that denim originated in the 17th century. Talk about a long running trend!
It's actually fun to look back and see the various generations and how they incorporated their style and their voice through a pair of jeans, a classic denim jacket, or a denim mini or maxi dress.
A timeless staple. We all have at least one denim item in our closet.
Hagar, Alembika's head designer, and Ozai N Ku are pushing the limits of denim and finding ways to blend it with other fabrics to create something new from something old. Balancing the need for fresh, novelty trends while respecting the timeless classics.
