It is all about Layering

Layering is an important factor in tackling the change of seasons & to achieve a cool and nonchalant look. Yet - layering is also a potential aesthetic disaster. This should be remembered when shopping for Spring weather.

May & June are the ideal months to peel off all our Winter clothes and go on a shopping spree for light weight, layering pieces to uplift and renew our look.

Start by replenishing your closet with shirts of all kinds: from crisp cotton T shirts to appealing blouses.

Add to the mix a light weight cardigan, some shawls and a long jacket.

And here is my tip for the jacket: Shirt dresses! Multi-functional as a dress and when worn open as a pretty layering piece.

Jackets are a superb layering piece. There is such a variety of styles in new cuts, new innovative fabrics and multi colored item pieces, as the French would say: Piece de Resistance!
